"Fun, Fundamentals, and FREESTYLE!"
Freestyle is the international style of wrestling that most of the world competes in, including the Olympics. There is a tournament season for youth that of all ages and weights that we encourage participation in.
Most kids find freestyle to be more fun with its wide-open scoring system and enjoy going to tournaments and being part of a team along with the junior high and high school wrestlers. (32 practices + tournaments) |

What to Bring |
Wrestlers--of all ages--need to come prepared to give the proper amount of attention needed to learn and work hard.
- Arrive before the practice starting time, so you're ready to start promptly.
- Plan on attending the entire practice from start to finish.
- Come to every practice so you don't miss-out on a series or progression of technique that puts you behind and slows the group.
Come ready to learn, work hard, and have fun! |
Come prepared to wrestle!
Besides bringing your "championship attitude", you should wear clothing that is suitable and safe (for you and your partners).
This includes:
- Athletic shorts (prefer no pockets)
- T-shirt (NO sweats)
- Wrestling shoes
- Head gear (recommended)
- Knee pads (suggested)
